The Check-in: After being greeted with beaming smiles by all staff when we pulled up outside, a line of check-in desks awaits in the cool lobby. Baggage was personally delivered to guests' rooms
The room: My Premier room was large and modern with an Arabian twist imparted by the dark-wood fretwork on the headboard and cupboards. Featured a desk, dining table, sofa and arms chairs, a huge balcony with a view of the pool and the looming Burj. The bathroom had a soaking tub as well as walk-in shower, while there was also hot drinks facilities, minibar, iPod dock, CD and DVD player, wireless internet and huge flat-screen TV as standard.
The Business: There are two ballrooms that can accommodate up to 550 guests, a boardroom and two meetings rooms with audio visual and IT equipment. There's also a 24-hour business lounge with internet, newspapers, television, comfortable seating and shower facilities.

The Verdict: Sumptuous, slick and sophisticated, The Address is an uber-cool hotel in a great location. The exceptional service, friendly staff and luxurious accommodation made it hard to leave.
