The Courtyard, by The Apartment Service

THE LOCATION: Comprised of ten two-bed apartments, three one-bed apartments and one two-bed penthouse apartment. Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac less than a five-minute walk from Wimbledon Station.

THe check-in: Keys were delivered to my office along with location details and general information on the apartment. Access to the apartments was very straightforward with a security door and then either a lift or staircase to the chosen accommodation.

THE APARTMENT: A bright and spacious apartment with two-bedrooms (one with en-suite shower), a bathroom, kitchen and sizable lounge/dinning area. The well-equipped kitchen came with cutlery, crockery, fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle, bread-making machine, washer/dryer, oven, hob and microwave. Tea and coffee sachets along with milk and sugar were provided on arrival. The lounge was of a good size with two sofas, coffee table, TV, DVD player, stereo and satellite TV system, offering a good selection of channels. An Ethernet cable was provided enabling me to access complimentary internet via my laptop computer. Both bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, although no television/s were provided.

Ample wardrobe space was offered with plenty of room for hanging or folding clothes away. An iron, ironing board and vacuum cleaner were also provided along with towels. A buzz-in entry system offered additional security and all windows had blinds or curtains offering privacy from neighbouring apartments and offices.

The Check-Out: Very straightforward, I just had to leave the keys in the apartment and close the door behind me.

The Verdict: The Courtyard offered a great long-stay option. The apartment was clean and very conveniently located for access into central or west London from the station just down the road. The bright, spacious apartment made you feel at home and had a good selection of amenities. A Sainsbury’s store less than three minutes walk away means getting your own food and drink is a doddle. Wimble-don’s trendy bars and restaurants were also within easy walking distance.
